For our next home we wanted to plant roots down, so we wanted to make sure we got what we wanted: Big backyard big enough to have a pool if it didn’t already have one We kept trying to find reasons why we shouldn’t buy the crystal house, but literally looking at our wish list there was none. We decided that I would drive the girls back and forth from school to Lola’s house until we moved to the crystal house. Nate’s commute to work living at Lola’s is only 10 minutes longer than when we were living at the Fiesta house, so not too bad.

We had purchased the home not even two years ago, when it literally fell into our laps, while looking at renting a place near the kid’s school We knew going in that it was going to be an investment property for us, meaning we really saw it as a starter home. See the thing is of course I wanted people to come check out the house, but I was so over keeping our home a model home. Man it was a beautiful home, in our budget, only a couple blocks further from the kid’s school than the Fiesta house – at this point we were feeling good and thinking it was meant to be!
