Try your hardest to surround yourself with true people. If you can’t always do so, remember to always be the better person. 🎁 4.Holidays do not have to be joyful all the time. One of the biggest reasons people say they hate the holidays is because they miss loved ones. That’s OK. That means you had a lot of joyful times with them. Cry it out, and make some more joyful memories with the people you still have. 🎄 5. Gifts are wonderful. But if you can’t, you can’t. A warm smile and an unexpectedly kind gesture last longer. 🎁 6. There’s not a set time to start celebrating. Don’t make fun of people who start decorating in early November, and don’t judge people who put their tree up on Dec. 23. 🎄 7. Now is not the time for jealousy or competition. Take time to be secure with yourself and the many blessings God has given you. 🎁 8. Don’t rush the season or your life away. A figure with curves always offers a lot of interesting angles. . I used to only ever use photos that were shot from a straight facing angle because it made me look smaller. We all know the angles that are considered “flattering.” We have all been programmed to immediately delete any photo where we look bigger because our brains have convinced us that we don’t look good enough and Society has convinced us that this is “aesthetic”. Well I’m sick of it! Remember that your body doesn’t need to look any particular way, because its amazing the way it is now. Imposter syndrome, who else suffers with this sometimes? According to our trusty friend Google, 70% of people feel this at some point in their life. What is impostor syndrome? Impostor syndrome—the idea that you’ve only succeeded due to luck, and not because of your talent or qualifications. Oddly enough I feel like this a lot, whenever someone asks about what I do or sees my follower count, I often think, oh no! How do I tell them I have no idea how and l'm just winging it most of the time!? . I have waisted many hours away on Instagram looking at other people's pages and thinking how my page is completely terrible and insignificant in comparison, (I've been known to do this quite often!) What I’ve realized is most people experience moments of doubt, and that’s normal. The important part is not to let that doubt control your actions. . At the end of the day, remember this: You are here for a reason. Whether it’s your job, your business, your life, you are worthy. You are better than you think you are. You are smarter than you think you are. You know more than you give yourself credit for. Remember that. And remind yourself as often as you need to! . Thank you for coming along on my journey!
