I know how you feel because I have been there way too many times and that’s why I started Both Feet On The Road.

SO WHO AM I? My name is Lara, a mid-twenty, Dutch, glass is half air, half water type of girl. I am best described as clumsy, down-to-earth, and sarcastic.

And guess what?

Just like any other girl next door, I love traveling, food, learning new things, meeting new people and seeing new places.

Of course, I could go on listing my other unoriginal hobbies and values, but I don’t think I’ll keep your attention for long that way. But I can kepe your attention by telling what I have got to offer.

THIS IS WHAT I CAN OFFER YOU

#1 Photos that are not the greatest (read terrible). My photos NEVER look like the ones you see on those great travel blogs. I like to have beautiful photos, but I’m not into photography. I just don’t have the patience to take a thousand pictures, change all the settings and edit afterward, just to get the perfect Insta shot. In other words, truly realistc photos

#2 My writing style lacks that inspiring way with words that makes you want to book your ticket and visit a place right now. I am just to the point, honest, and sarcastic. I cannot make things sound beautiful if I think they’re not.

#3 I have the talent to always see a negative side in everything. I can easily give you a list of things I didn’t like about my favorite places in the world! And that’s why I will always share a balanced perspective of the places I went, the things I loved, the things I ate, drank, did, saw, or experienced, so my readers have an honest opinion.
