I bought it for a side table in my living room, and I can’t wait to share with you the awesome ornaments I made for it. I LOVE turquoise and black together, but it’s obviously not a traditional Christmas color pallet. I couldn’t find anything online to work with my colors, so I made my own ornaments instead! To make my halloween cake topper, I just painted my cat with a matte silver craft paint,  then used media misters to add specks of black and white. I let it dry completely, then applied a light satin varnish just to make sure I could put it on my cake without getting paint on the frosting. I would suggest letting your varnish dry for 2-3 days before use. You can also glue skewer sticks to the back so your painted surface doesn’t touch food.
