I actually hosted this BBQ Birthday Party for my son about a year and a half ago One of Luke’s favorite thing to do is chill with his friends so “Chillin’ and Grillin'” was the perfect theme for his 11th birthday. I had custom plates and cups made and then stamped mini kraft bags with our party theme to add a personalized touch to the food table. My absolute favorite element of the party was Luke’s smash cake complete with mini fondant hamburger!
For the dinner table I I table runners printed with our party pattern and personalized paper plates with the number “16” We used tons of bright paper flowers for the backdrop and filled the table with incredible treats. Adult guests fiesta-ed at the Bebidas table while Audrey’s friend sipped their favorite agua frescas and grabbed colorful gum ball party favors. Today we are sharing this darling Kitty Party Baby Shower hosted by Nicole of Nicole’s Guide to Style for her long time friend. The mommy-to-be wanted a no fuss intimate baby shower with her closest friends from childhood and since she had already had a traditional baby shower, Nicole decided to pick a more whimsical playful theme- kitties, one of the mommy-to-be’s favorite things. The black, white and gray color scheme and simple designs laid the foundation for this purr-fect shower. The backdrop covered in kitty paper and meow banner, black and white balloons and pom poms finished off this sweet table.
All of the desserts served looked liked one of our emojis including an emoji cake, dog and panda cake pops by my favorite Cake Poppin, Unicorn sugar cookies, lollipops, chocolate sprinkled donuts and chocolate covered Oreos. On the drink and snack table, I decorated the drink dispenser, raspberry cups and biscuit jars with emoji faces cut from vinyl. During the party, the girls made emoji slime and emoji stress balls, took selfies in our photo booth and played with paper fortune tellers. The girls had a blast and believe it or not Charlotte has already picked the theme for her party next year.
