This was simple but a lot of fun to wear! I figured that pairing a magnetic polish (and magnetizing it sideways) with a weird 1920’s style stamp would look awesome. Of course, it also gave me an excuse to play with a cool new-to-me stamping plate from MoYou’s steampunk collection. I know there are only two photos, but when there is no sunlight AND my nails are tiny I don’t tend to take as many pictures!

I feel like I cheated with this because the complicated nails are just water decals. Unfortunately, the decal nails did need a white base (instead of just applying them over a base-coated nail) because the decals are not opaque. Just One Look ~ White: Sinful Colors – Snow me White ~ Water decals: Born Pretty Store – I seldom use water decals unless I have to review them, and I am regretting that decision!

I have been meaning to make a watermable with glitter so that it looks variegated (instead of just swoopy lines, to get some irregularity) and this worked! It kinda looks like the surface of Jupiter to me, if Jupiter was purple and the red spot was also purple (my middle finger tip). I’m not going to lie, the sparkly stripe down the middle of my ring finger was…augmented…with extra polish. They were supposed to be wheat sheaves or something, but the look mostly floral-y and very sparkly. On the one hand, they are beautiful, and most of them have this jelly depth that leaves me staring at my nails whenever I wear them. On the other hand, they are a pain to apply (since, lets be honest, you have to place a lot of the glitters, especially larger ones) and the are REALLY a pain to remove! Eleven at least isn’t that hard to get on the nail, the glitters are well-dispersed, uniform in size, and smallish.
