I’m learning to listen to the world outside of my own. ⠀ ⠀ June 5, 2020. One of the most life changing and life giving days. Along with the city of Denver my husband and I joined a peaceful protest downtown. Thousands of us with all races and ages marched for hours, said their names, spread awareness, talked about love and unity, had a local government official join us, listened to stories, linked arms, talked about God, and sang happy birthday to Breonna Taylor. It was empowering and although this day had nothing to do with me, I was proud to be there, a part of history and a part of change. ⠀ ⠀ I stand with you. #BlackLivesMatter

🌼USE YOUR VOICE FOR GOOD🌼⠀ ⠀ My heart is with George Floyd and all the victims and their families who have faced racial discrimination and police brutality. I will continue to pray and advocate for the black community, and for racial equality as a whole. I’ve learned so much the past few days but will continue to educate myself and have conversations with people in my life. ⠀ ⠀ We are in a movement that needs attention in this very moment. Everyone can do their part in supporting the black community and fighting against racism. Begin by becoming aware of what’s going on and of your privilege, educate yourself, and take action. Everyone has a unique voice so let’s join hands and fight against racial injustice. Spreading love and building community right now is not only necessary, but it is incredibly powerful. ⠀ ⠀ Just know that you are accepted, loved, respected, and valued here no matter what race you are. 🇬🇷Top 5 Mykonos Recommendations🇬🇷 ⠀ ⠀ Stay at La Maison Blanche. This photo was taken at our Airbnb that is on top of a cliff & overlooks Mykonos Town and the beautiful blue sea. 🌊 There’s actually several villas and we stayed at the smallest one, but with the best views. We sat out here for hours every day. It’s only a 10 minute drive to the town, and our favorite restaurant is right down the hill, Limnios Taverna. ⠀ ⠀ Explore Mykonos town. The white cobblestone streets and the pops of color throughout the town is even better in person. 💙 We spent hours wandering around shopping and eating the best meals throughout the week. Explore the town in the morning, it’s the least busy! ⠀ ⠀ Rent a scooter. Again, renting a scooter or ATV is a must when on an island and by the sea! 🛵 There’s hardly any traffic in Mykonos, we never paid for parking, & gas is so cheap. Overall riding scooters is such an affordable way to get around. ⠀ ⠀ Explore the beaches. ☀️ We went to three different beaches and it was like seeing another world. The beaches are away from the business of the town too! Our favorite beaches are: Lia, Kalafatis, & Agios Sostis ⠀ ⠀ Go on a sunset sailboat cruise. ⛵️ We sailed all around Mykonos island at sunset and it was an absolute dream. The company we booked through was Sunfos Alessia Yachting.

🍋Top 5 Amalfi Coast Recommendations🍋 ⠀ ⠀ Stay in Atrani. It’s the smallest town on the coast, with the best pasta & pizza we had the entire trip. 🍝🍕 It’s a 5 minute walk to Amalfi, the locals are SO nice, and the beach is not too crowded. We stayed at Casa Mika which had a balcony with stunning views, a full kitchen, & a washing machine! Link to our Airbnb is over on my stories. ⠀ ⠀ Spend half a day in Ravello. It’s a town up in the mountain along the coast next to Atrani. The views are stunning, the crowds are minimal, no cars or traffic, & there’s plenty to do. 🥂 I felt like I was in another world, it’s paradise up there. We ended up going several times, Ravello is just so peaceful & quaint. ⠀ ⠀ Go on a boat cruise along the coast. ⛵️We took a private boat tour and it was absolutely our favorite day on the coast and our favorite activity on our honeymoon! We got to stop and swim, explore some caves, & spent a few hours grabbing lunch and walking around Capri. Seeing the coast from the water is a MUST! 🌊 The company we booked through was “Boats Amalfi - Da Gioacchino” and the service was excellent!!⠀ ⠀ Rent a scooter. 🛵 I will say this a thousand times, do not rent a car. It’s so much easier to find parking with a scooter, and you can easily weave in and out of traffic so it takes less time to get from place to place. You get to fully experience the beauty of the coast when cruising on a scooter, which is the biggest pro. Renting one was the best decision! 👏🏻⠀ ⠀ Drink some limoncello! 🍋 Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur produced in Southern Italy. The Amalfi Coast is a huge hub for it, and it’s just scrumptious. 🌟 THANK YOU FOR 20K 🌟⁣ ⁣ Capturing memories through photography has always been a huge part of my life. 📸. I watched several of my family members have a love and an eye for photography. As a little girl, I remember getting so excited to take my waterproof disposable camera to the beach every year. Little by little, I went through several digital cameras and became the historian in my middle school show choir🤣. I was, and still am, the friend who poses everyone in photos, & then the more I traveled, the more I wanted to take photos of beautiful places. ⁣ ⁣ Gradually, I became interested in the blogger world and started sharing photos with myself in them. & got comfortable real fast because looking back on photos (especially travel ones), I get so excited that I was THERE. In the middle of a beautiful spot in this beautiful world! 🌎 What started as a passion turned into a job. Working with DREAM companies that I never thought was possible when I started my social media journey. ⁣ ⁣ THANK YOU for being here and supporting me through it all. To some, this milestone may not seem that big of a deal. And to others, it’s hard to fathom the number or it’s a goal you’ve set for yourself too.
