Spruce up Your Springtime with Levitating Décor from Floately After a gloomy winter full of lockdown blues, the sun is finally starting to shine again. Smart and chic accessories like the Volta levitating lightbulb and Airsai floating plant pot bring a little levity to life and a lot of fun to springtime decorating. Airsai is a simple yet elegant floating plant pot suitable for any small plant. Levitating décor is also quite affordable right now thanks to Floately’s spring sale.
Although wellies are great at keeping the kids feet dry, keeping them warm is equally important and that’s why we always size up with their wellies (meaning they last even longer) and go for a pair of Heat Holders from SOCKSHOP, available in lots of fun designs from Minions to Frozen, which not only keep their feet toasty warm but have handy grips on the soles which we find keeps the kids feet nice and sturdy in their wellies and means we can walk that little bit further! Whether the kids are kicking around the football, planting seeds, playing games, doing arts and crafts or just sitting and enjoying an ice lolly in the sun, it’s been great for them to get outdoors and gives us that little bit of respite when we’re juggling working from home! We find that the kids are more than happy to play in the garden from morning ’til night as long as they’re neither too warm nor too cold, they’re fed, watered and they’ve got things to play with. As much as the Summer months are spent trying to keep them cool with sun hats and SPF, in these early spring days we make sure they’re still wearing their layers and their little feet are nice and cosy in their SOCKSHOP Heat Holders.
Eedi is an affordable and fun way for children to get personalised help through unlimited on-demand lessons and gives children in years 5, 6, 7 and 8 access to one-to-one support with live tutors. All tutors on the platform are fully qualified and DBS checked and explain things in a clear and concise way meaning you can be sure your child has fully understood that topic before moving on to the next. Eva is really enjoying learning with Eedi and for a child who really struggles with her confidence in all aspects of life, it’s been great seeing her confidence grow with her maths. it’s definitely a website I would recommend to other parents out there looking for help with their child’s maths work.
With the first of the Spring sunshine finally making an appearance and the promise of days in the garden to come, we have been thinking of ways to make some simple changes to our garden to make it a lovely space to enjoy as a family over the warmer months. If you don’t have flower beds or space for vegetables, planting sunflowers with the children is always fun, or even potted herbs for window ledges. We love eating al fresco in the warmer months and a garden furniture set can really hep you to utilise that outdoor space. Adding a feature to your garden can really change the feel of it, be that a large water feature, a small garden statue, or simply adding in some colourful hanging baskets.
