Today I wanted to share my experience with choosing window treatments from The Shade Store for my daughter’s bedroom. Before the makeover in my daughter’s room, I had faux wood blinds with a fabric roman shade on top of the blinds. When the One Room Challenge came up and The Shade Store was a sponsor, I decided now was the time to ditch the decorative roman shades and the faux wood blinds. Here’s my take on ceiling fans when considering design of a room. Here’s the caveat to that choice- design can’t always choose pretty over function, and when it comes to a hot bedroom I’ll take that ceiling fan! And just so you know, we are not forced to use any of these companies and everything I picked was chosen based on the item being something that I knew would be perfect for the room.
