Save this for later! Spring is here, so letâs dig in to all the lemony treats! Iâve been tinkering with this lemon pound cake recipe for years, and I think itâs finally perfect. Sturdy and tight-crumbed, yet delicate, this gluten free and paleo lemon pound cake is simple to make and full of all natural lemon flavor! Itâs perfect for Easter, or for brunch any time of year! I notoriously obsess over recipes
All you need is a handful of (grain- and gluten free), all natural ingredients to make these muffins: a few grain free flours (more on those in a minute), some low-glycemic coconut sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt make up the dry ingredients mixture. I call these gluten free muffins, but theyâre actually made from grain free and gluten free flour blend containing almond flour (sometimes called almond meal; you can read more about that here! ), coconut flour, and arrowroot flour. There is no gluten free all purpose flour, and no xanthan gum (or any other gums that you often see in gluten free baking! ) If you donât avoid grains, I have a gluten free banana bread recipe from wayyyy back in the early days of the site, which you can find here.
I originally called this âsecretly-healthy brownie batter dipâ because, at the time, people werenât nutritionally woke enough to be ready for the idea chocolate hummus. So, dessert hummus is a sweet dip inspired by the savory original, consisting of chickpeas, tahini, unsweetened cocoa powder, honey (or you can use maple syrup to keep it vegan), vanilla extract, and sea salt. If it really bothers you, add a little more cocoa powder (1-2 tablespoons), and as much additional maple syrup or honey as it takes to get to your preferred sweetness and consistency. If it really bothers you, add a little more cocoa powder (1-2 tablespoons), and (if you want) as much additional maple syrup or honey as it takes to get to your preferred sweetness and consistency.
By raising my prices, being very picky about the work I accepted, and saying no to any work done on spec or in exchange for product, I earned more in 2018 from 1 sponsored blog post and 2 sponsored Instagram posts than I did in 2017 when I did 5 full sponsored blog posts. But since, as I said, I didnât have a strong enough idea of how to use it to my siteâs benefit, I couldnât justify paying to outsource the work. In 2018, I challenged myself to meet or exceed my total 2017 income (which was from ads, sponsored work, and freelance work) with ads alone (and I ended up doing 1 sponsored blog posts and 2 sponsored Instagram posts, too). The key changes I made, to my new site content and the 10-20 old posts on my site that still drive the most traffic, were: Lengthened posts.
