We left, sans dress, and looking back that’s probably when I first started attempting to realize that there’s just some designer pieces that maybe should have not been created, or saved just for the runway. Sure that Tibi top that’s on major sale I might wear once is cute, but is it actually worth it? it’s a deal, but that’s $40 you could allocate to something a little bit more that you’ll actually get more use out of. If you like it and will wear it for years and can justify the cost/wear, get it.
This year had a lot of ups, a lot of growing pains, and was overall pretty awesome. Filled with trips, engagements, LOTS of weddings, adopting a dog, finishing a three year project, mud baths, golf tournaments, the coast, ODESZA, and family time. Looking back through the years, I have forgotten the bag my parents got me, but still wear the necklace every day I got for my birthday a few years back. I recently did a poll on statement vs. delicate jewelry, and delicate jewelry won at 87%! When a piece of jewelry is simple and understated, it creates a look of refinement that can be worn for years. My parents got my a diamond necklace for my birthday several years ago and I fell in love with the company.
