As some of you may know, I just came back from a 2 week trip to Europe and as great as it was to eat literally whatever I wanted…I missed the feeling of having a bunch of greens in me so I decided to go on a juice cleanse! Now my goal going into it wasn’t ignorant and I didn’t think that I would go and drink juices for 3 days and somehow all these “freedom foods” would be magically cleared out of my system and I’d be radiant. I went into it knowing that cleanses aren’t this thing that is a “cure” for a bad diet
Hello friends! It’s been a while! I’ve been travelling in Europe the past couple of weeks so I haven’t been able to post in a hot minute. I had a whole bunch of Italian food when I was away…despite not actually visiting Italy so Grayson wanted to go for some when I got back
While we enjoyed the idea of the hot stone bowl, the sauce was too sweet and it made it taste like more of a sweet dish than a savory one. We couldn’t leave without trying some of their sushi so we got the talk about traditional roll ($10). The rice wasn’t seasoned so it didn’t have the signature taste of traditional sushi rice, and the sesame oil on the outside of the seaweed was just strange. This roll was not with the $10 and we’re skeptical about trying any of their other rolls especially since their rolls were between $10-13.
Grayson and I haven’t been out for Hong Kong cafe food for a while so we decided to get some after our day out in Richmond. but all they served was traditional Hong Kong cafe food. Although this was a Hong Kong cafe style restaurant, their prices were on the higher side compared to most we have been to before because dishes were $15-30 each. In addition to chicken, the dish also had slices of hot dogs, tomatoes, bell pepper, potatoes and olives.
