Octobers are for cider, warm clothes and engagement sessions! I was lucky enough to hang out with Nat + Pat last night on Belle Isle for their chic Belle Isle engagement. We laughed a ton and ran around to some of their favorite spots and talked all about their August 2019 wedding. I cannot wait for next summer!
Adrienne + John’s glam fall Michigan League wedding and my girls Jes Adrienne and John rolled with the flow and enjoyed their day with their closest friends and family at Ann Arbor’s Michigan League. I totally feel like SNL’s Stefan right now, but this fall Detroit wedding had everything! Tears, crip walking, tons of champs, laughs, the groom doing the worm, light up shoes, Grandparents dancing to Crazing in Love by Beyonce’ like it was their jam. Blue Water Kings kept their dance floor poppin’ all night like nothing I’ve ever seen! Caitlin’s advice: It can be very stressful planning a wedding, there are so many moving pieces and most likely you’ve never done this before.
I am so glad I was able to photograph this sweet in home newborn session for my friends and past ESP wedding couple, Caitlin + Brennan! The story behind River’s name: We were lucky in that we agreed on a name so easily. We loved the imagery and meaning behind River-this powerful, mighty yet peaceful force of nature that is always evolving and adapting while shaping the world around it. River’s middle name, Adam, is after his great-grandfather, an incredible man we lost this year.
