My name is Tamsyn, I'm a stylist and lifestyle blogger, passionate about vintage home and decorative crafts. http://www.tamsynmorgans.com
The light was so pretty the other day, and the house was clean and tidy because of my shoot that was happening here, so I decided to snap some pics to share with you! It’s my landing, I need to take some ‘before’ shots to share with you. I had the 1980’s artex ceiling re-skimmed a couple of years ago, I then have three rolls of this vintage wallpaper, that I’m planning to paper the long wall with.
I must have taken hundreds of photos this year, and although I feel like I never quite captured it in it’s full glory, I do love these snaps. There’s something a bit fairytale about it, and as you all know, I love a good fairytale! In other news, I am doing an online class with Annie Leibovitz on photography (not actually with the great lady herself unfortunately – as with all online courses now, they are pre recorded videos! ) I find shooting people a real challenge, but it’s something I want to do a lot more of this year.
It’s been a challenge, but one that I’ve really enjoyed, and I can’t believe that the children and I now have this whole new extra room in the house! It’s the perfect vintage pink, not too sugary sweet, and to keep the whole room flowing, I painted both the walls and woodwork in this colour. This stunning Vienna Table Lamp from David Hunt Lighting is a real statement piece with it’s rose pink glass base, and it looks so beautiful against the wallpaper. It’s now time to send you all over to Malcolm at Design Sixty Nine who is next on the blog hop list with his beautiful living room makeover.
They only have to be little things, things that bring a touch of magic to a photo. It’s not a full roll, so I’m tempted to cover a canvas or something similar with it. My attic makeover for Revamp, Restyle, Reveal is very nearly finished! The reveal day is next Tuesday 2nd April, and there will be a blog hop so you can see all the bloggers finished rooms.
