Finally getting back to my Behind the Scenes blogs, we’re picking up where I left off! We didn’t have enough bonus content from April Fools video & Oakley’s vlog, but we do for Snowday! Including more of Oakley the chemist in the lab and how we did it! But first, watch the episode! The first part to note about this episode, was that it was filmed on the biggest snowfall we had this winter! Which was also a real snowday for the schools. In fact, Dad woke up one morning to see the front porch totally full of untouched snow, and thus sparked the idea for a snow day episode
This past Sunday I aired my first episode of Season 3, also the first video I’ve released in months! The episode is called HAMSTERBOX and is of course a play on the Netflix smash movie, BirdBox featuring Sandra Bullock, which is a bit of a scary thriller! So for those who have not seen BirdBox, here’s the jist of it so you can understand the episode (warning: spoilers for anyone who still wants to watch the movie). Continuing from Part 1 of my book tour, I was still in Denver, having changed plans to fly to LA for the People’s Choice Awards instead of the originally planned Austin (which was rescheduled for later). Yet, since the PCA’s only invited us FOUR DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT, Mum and Dad didn’t have suitable clothes for such an event, so we had to go shopping! I was super excited to be fitted for a new suit! That is, until I was informed that only Mum and Dad would be getting new clothes… Since I already have “so many”
People’s Choice Awards (and won), met so many amazing people, and explored some great places. On my first book tour 3 years ago, back when Mum and Dad never really appeared in videos, people wouldn’t even know who they were; the focus was entirely on me! While in Denver, we got a special phone call to attend the People’s Choice Awards in LA So, Phoenix got rescheduled, too, and Mum and Dad were stuck in Denver for an extra couple days.
