I’m not going to lie I’ve been finding life pretty hard lately, my mood has been so low and I’ve been a nightmare to live with… I’ve been finding it so hard to sit and write, my head has just been so full of darkness that I just couldn’t find the words. You might have noticed that I stopped doing the 365 project and made my personal Instagram account private because Boo has got to the age now where she really doesn’t want her life shared The 365 project was such a huge part of my life and the blog that it has really stopped me in my tracks a bit.

Boo & Bugs both went as Thing 1 & Thing 2 last year but seeing as Boo is at secondary school this year he didn’t have his Thing 1 to go with but that didn’t matter to him 🙂 My kids absolutely love fruit bowl snacks and have done for years so they were very happy when fruit bowl sent them a box of delicious goodies. We watched Matilda the Musical which was amazing, and spent the rest of the time seeing the sites and exploring the galleries and museums.

I love buying gifts for people and when I started writing this post I had my other half in mind but most of these gifts could actually be for anybody special in your life; a partner, son, daughter, parent, siblings etc. There are lots of trendy bars that offer cocktail making experiences nowadays and it is so much fun and not just because you get to drink all of the cocktails that you make 😉 A trip to the theatre to see a show is a great gift you can often gets deals for hotel stays and meals as well so do some research to get a really great offer. We’ve had some brilliant fun at different wine tastings, if wine isn’t your thing then what about gin tasting… that has become very popular nowadays.
