I’m a blogger for busy working moms who love their kids, but often feel tired, stressed out and overwhelmed. They love to travel, want to create an adventurous life for their kids but can’t find enough hours in the day to do it all. I encourage them to balance family, health and work so that they can go to sleep each night feeling fulfilled and guilt-free. You’ll find inspiration for places to go, things to do, methods for improving your relationships and quick, easy ways to improve your health.

Be Healthy, Be Happy Wellness

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that less than an hour from Indianapolis, Rush County has a long history of covered bridges. Feeling like a snack was in order, we headed over to the largest city in Rush County, appropriately named Rushville and decided to check out a local favorite, Stagg’s Dairy Treats & Restaurant. Both of these (Smith Covered Bridge and the Norris Ford Covered Bridge) were easy to find but impossible to stop and walk around. The afternoon was fading and with two more bridges to find, we decided to knock one off the list as it would take us further away from home, so we set off to find Offutt’s Ford Covered Bridge.

Why we chose to take our kids Last year around Christmas time, we discovered that my daughter’s all-time favorite band (Aerosmith) was going to be playing in Las Vegas. Her arguments were reasonable (it’s all I want for Christmas and my birthday; Steven Tyler is 71, who knows how much longer they are touring, it’s a super small venue so it’ll be a great show, etc.). We were on our way … What to do with teens in Las Vegas Our normal Las Vegas trip consists of the pool, gambling, sampling cocktails and lots of walking. The Pool – Summer is prime pool time in Las Vegas, and the pool at the ParkMGM was perfect.
