Choosing the Right Laminate Flooring - Where to Start

DIY IKEA Decor Hack: Update Small Bedroom Storage with Wooden Detail

There’s no blending in with the rest of the furniture, because well, there is no rest of the furniture! I had tried to get away with having a very minimal amount of storage in this room, but as our bathroom is storage sparse also (don’t get me started on how badly this space has been designed) So I chose this shoe storage unit from IKEA which is slightly narrower than most storage cabinets. (Looking back at this post it’s hilarious how much my styling has changed and actually, it’s a bit of a boost.

How to Make Easter Eggs - Five Ways

This year instead of stocking up on basic eggs, I’m doing something a little bit special and making ours. Hopefully it is just as fun, with (a little) less of the sugar (although I’ll be honest, I got through my fair share of chocolate making these). To make a basic chocolate egg spoon melted chocolate into the mould, tipping as you go until you’ve covered the inside of the mould. Add in a tiny amount of food colouring for colour, then take your paint brush, dip it into the chocolate and tap the side of your mould to create a splatter pattern.

DIY Terracotta Clay Hanging Planters

Ok, we never really fell out of love, but this is the first clay project I’ve (successfully) done since Ollen was born • Clay roller with board (or roller and wood strips) I’m working on a tile, but it really helps to work on plastic or baking sheet. Roll out a piece of clay around 1 cm thick and use a smaller cookie cutter to make a circle. Once your pieces are dry sand them smooth and using a strong glue, attach the smaller circle to the bottom of the planter and leave to dry.
