Cenote all day! . That's how it goes @cenoteelvira when you have the whole place to yourself for the entire time!🤩 . This private cenote is not just great for taking a dip in and splashing around, but for having a complete relaxation getaway. 🧘‍♀️You can barbecue in the middle if this jungle oasis and keep your drinks cool in the fridge all day.🍻 There are plenty of peaceful spots to choose all around the jungle for a chill ambience. Anyone else like siestas?😴 . 👨‍👩‍👧This was the perfect family getaway for us where we were out of the hot sun and distanced from all the crowds. . We spent the day lounging in hammocks, swinging, and running around the jungle, with lots of time in the cenote. Not that anyone is counting, but we have now been to 4 of the 7 world wonders😁 (obviously, this is Petra's first one) . 🚗We got a private tour because we didn't want to drive ourselves and the other tours have other activities bundled into them so it would have been just way too much for Petra. . It was nice to no deal with the driving even though driving here us pretty easy. We also had a specific time line to follow so that Petra would nap on the way there and back and would also get fed in the car. 😴This gave us over 2 hours to roam around and get the tour in the main Ssquare. . Also, since food at the site is limited, we brought our own lunch to save time from having to go to the nearby town to eat. 🥪 . It was good to get there earlier in the day before the crowds and the heat!☀️ . Rise and shine! . . . Our time in Mexico has kicked off and we're loving it! So far, the sunset and sunrise rooftop shows have been fantastic! We might make it a daily routine! Green sand, blue waters, white clouds, and a golden sunset: ingredients for absolute perfection! And here i am in the midst of it all!!! UNREAL😍 Papakolea/Mahana Beach is of of four beaches in all the world with green sand! Green crystals are mixed in with regular sand and volcanic rock black sand so it looks like an olive green color but it's still pretty cool looking. Not only that, but the scenery surrounding it all is pretty spectacular, too!
