A Vancouver based company that provides infrastructure asset management software for the energy and industrial sectors, Copperleaf Technologies had outgrown their office and decided to relocate to a new space that could accommodate their expanding team. A large sunken seating area dubbed ‘the pit’ was built into the raised floor of this office, used as a casual seating or informal meeting area during the day but can also be used for office-wide meetings and functions. Seating booths, games areas and meeting rooms with Copperleaf branding and industrial graphics surround the social area. Connecting the social area to the open office is ‘the portal.’ A transformative space where screens with staff and clients greet visitors, prompted by a motion sensor.

The ideology of commanding the monolithic curves as per the design and placement of the lights was to initially conceal the heavy structural members at the site as well as provide a design harmony to the viewers path of the latest lighting and art design trends at offer. Design Scheme Entering the gallery through an opening in the monolithic facade, the arch like curves continue to the interior and gently merge into a clean white space for exhibiting the lights via the artworks. The open areas in the gallery offer a wide space for themed lighting exhibition, while the gently curved partitions draw people into the space and guides them naturally further into the other various light gallery. The idea was simple , to create the right blend of art and architecture with the overlapping of the customizable light design solutions and provide an overwhelming artistic experience to the viewers and the buyers.

Following the launch of its first west coast outpost in downtown Los Angeles five years ago, Acne Studios have launched a second signature flagship on the most relevant shopping strip in West Hollywood. [153 sqm.], the ceiling and walls are dipped in a soft yellow hue, and form a fitting backdrop for large-sized and similarly colourful sculpture by artist daniel silver as decorative eyecatcher. Additional furnishings and fixtures comprise of specially commissioned pieces by designer Max Lamb, ceiling lights by Paris-based designer Benoît Lalloz, and sleek metal shelving and clothing racks. The new Acne Studios store carries the brand’s full range of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, shoes, bags, jewellery, eyewear, and last but not least, pieces from its blå konst denim collection.

Tangram Cafè was realized by AFA Arredamenti in the summer of 2017. It is a place with sober and delicate colors, with rounded elements and plays of light that make it particularly pleasant and relaxing. The tables in light wood match with the counter, floor and part of the walls. Three mirrors tend to further enlarge the environment, while the plants, which fall slightly from the balconies, give color and brightness.
