We LOVE all things paper and could just spend all day soaking in this dreamy stationery collection we designed for Kristina and Jeffrey’s Laguna Beach wedding. Our stunning white and navy invitation suite was accented with a custom artwork of palm leaves and bistro lights and then tucked into a shimmering gold tri-fold pocket card for an elegant look. We tied in our California-inspired artwork with all of the wedding stationery that day, from the welcome sign, to the ceremony program fans, escort card table signage, and menu cards. The bride’s family were big fans of wine, so we designed navy and white escort cards to be tucked into custom wine corks created by the bride’s father.

The bride and groom invite the guests they would like to (or are able to) invite, yet somehow there is always a guest or two who send their response cards back with an uninvited plus-one, even though only their name was included on the inner envelope. Let that guest know how thrilled you are that he or is able to make it to the wedding, but due to budget or space limitations, you unfortunately have had to cap the guest list at a certain amount and are unable to allow plus-ones (as much as you would like to). You could always reconsider your guest list and revise your rule about no plus-ones, as long as the venue has the room for additional guests and your budget is able to accommodate the additional meals. You should, however, consider whether or not you mind having several guests you don’t know at your wedding.

But this Monarch Beach Resort wedding just goes to show how cozy, romantic, and GLAMOROUS a wedding day can be on a rainy day (not to mention the super sweet photo ops for the Bride & Groom! ). The seating chart was a beautiful display of three acrylic signs in lavender, mauve, and fuchsia tones, all set on top of a mirrored marble table with hanging crystals and an abundance of floating candles. The guest dining tables included alternating round tables with cream and silver brocade linens and square tables with matte satin silver linens, finished off with silver napkins wrapped around silver chargers, silver chiavari chairs, and floating candles galore. The dancing area had more of a lounge feel with fuchsia uplights and a seamless white dance floor with their custom monogram in purple, and their cake table dazzled with a silver sequin linen, mirrored top, and a gorgeous white and silver cake with cascading fuchsia orchids.

The wedding invitation we designed for this gem of a wedding makes a bold and sophisticated statement in crisp white with an elegant gold script, black and gold backing, and a custom monogram with the couple’s initials (which was carried throughout all of the wedding stationery and looked absolutely fabulous on their seamless white dance floor). The bride and groom provided welcome bags to greet each guest who stayed at the Fashion Island Hotel, and to go along with each bag we designed super chic “Welcome to the OC We designed fun and commemorative signage for their gourmet coffee cart, late night cereal bar, and wedding Instagram info, and their custom monogram further made its appearance on cocktail napkins and coffee cup sleeves. And, because the groom went to UCLA and is a huge Bruin fan, the coffee cup sleeves included the following quote: “Love is Bruin”!
