Hello! Lazy Mom's blog is where I share my parenting thoughts, easy cooking creations, sweet treats I bake with my little girl, fun crafts and simple DIY.
And last year I found this old mid century modern piece in kijiji that’ll be transformed in to a bathroom vanity! And so this mid century modern vanity from this one lovely renovation project is my main inspiration! But after looking through countless inspirations i realized that every time I see a gold faucet in a bathroom I smile so gold it is And after putting all these ideas together here’s my basement bathroom mood board- mid century modern DIY vanity, cold accents, prettiest tile and a hint of peach !
First, as in any learning curve you need to assume that at the beginning they will make some mess – but for my kids it’s been years ( they are 5 and 7 now) that the mess is really minimal and they usually clean it all on their own anyway now. How to teach kids to craft without making a mess: • Start when the are young ( 1-2 years old) • • While they grow older and more capable of cleaning up, let them mix mediums more and make more elaborated crafts ( paint and crayons, glue and paper and stickers, natural elements to glue on paper and decorate or paint rocks and stacking them with glue etc.) I think that for me it all goes down to raising kids who will be able to find themself something to do on a rainy/snowy day, use their imagination, create and have fun without having me to clean up a huge mess after that!
During our last stay we were testing breakfast places, foodie spots and cutest new snacks, and believe me when I say that only the best are featured here! The best Breakfast place in Disneyland There are many great places to grab breakfast but my favourite must be the Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land! To be honest this is probably our favorite thing about Disneyland too, and with Mickey turning 90 years old this year, there’s a lot of novelty foods throughout the park – best part – elegant, with plenty of space for a stroller by your table, with seasonal menu and amazing drinks and vine selection- the perfect family celebration/romantic dinner destination!
I always wanted to visit Disneyland with my kids: I imagined it being fun and colorful and I knew there would be some rides and a princess or two. But what we have experienced on our trip last week have exceeded my wildest dreams! And now I know why people call Disneyland the most magical place on earth! See, I used to hear friends saying they won’t go to Disneyland before their kids hit a certain age, and I even used to think that it’s not a fun place for adults without kids
