To our surprise we were blown away by the cohesive colors and sleek decor that makes Holy Matcha a unique cafe. We were expecting a typical cafe that hosts traditional beverages along with your everyday food items, but after walking into this gorgeous cafe and ordering off their minimal yet nutritious menu it was clear how unique they really are. We ordered the Matcha Horchata, soft serve non-dairy ice cream, pink lemonade and their delicious strawberry donut that was the perfect combination of sweetness. Holy Matcha not only crafts healthy coffee alternatives, but they offer several items that can be added into your beverages for additional health benefits.
I ordered the Park Original that was made of park spread, coleslaw, pickles and pulled pork, along with the 101 greens salad. My comadre ordered Oink fries made with smoked cheddar cheese sauce, smoked pulled pork, bacon crumbles and poblano sauce. We will be happy to pack up any one of our take-away treats such as hot tri-tip sandwiches, ready-made juices, fresh espresso and coffee, ice cream sandwiches, or a few of our irresistible handmade doughnuts. Park 101 features a rooftop lounge with fire pits and cozy seating areas that are ideal for couples, family and friends.
A little run down on the facility-The House of Air is a 32,000 square foot playground filled with adrenaline activities for the whole family. Their athletic and recreational facility is an open trampoline filled with non-stop jump time, aerial and physical training on trampolines, dodgeball, rock climbing, trampoline basketball, and other exciting recreation activities. After everything was good to go, we received our socks and wrist bands and were on our way inside the facility with over an hour filled with adrenaline activities (perfect for any parent looking to tire out their kids) After they had enough of the drop zone, they made their way to the basketball trampoline, where they spent most of their time dunking and making new friends who also happen to be huge basketball fans.
The Marriott Hotels Residence Inn/Springhill Suites in Downtown San Diego sits perfectly between Harbor drive and Point Loma. The outside view of the hotel felt like a dream come true, with views like this you’re going to want to stay here forever. It’s the ideal restaurant since they are more affordable than the rest of the eateries around, plus the seating area is perfect for families who have rowdy kids like mine, the outside area is a must 🙂 Whether you live in San Diego or plan to visit with your family and friends, I recommend the Marriott Springhill Suites for your next getaway.
