Jungfrau 🇨🇭- one of our most memorable and breathtaking trips. We stayed in 4 nights in Grindelwald (which was the perfect amount of time) and filled our time with hikes, petting Swiss cows, eating fondue, and just taking in the views. #grindelwald #jungfrau #jungfrauregion #visitswitzerland #swissalps #travelcouples #getoutstayout #thegreatoutdoors #swisstravel #exploreeurope
Happy New Year from the Friemel’s! This has been one memorable Christmas trip 🎅🏻 I’ve gotten my fill of Christmas markets in Germany (Nuremberg, Bamberg, Regensburg, Rothenberg, and Heidelberg). I explored the famous “capital of Christmas” in Strasbourg, France (not my favorite city). Jake joined me in one of our favorite places ever…Colmar. We spent several nights and afternoons with locals we met back in 2019 and made new friends from Alicante, Spain as well. We then ate our way through Lyon and did a fantastic day trip to Annecy (beyond charming). Now we ring in the New Year in Rome 🎉🎉 #colmar #colmarfrance #alsace #alsacetourisme #alsacemylove #alsacefrance #colmaroriginals #postcardplaces #wowplacestogo
Heidelberg, Germany - the most charming little university town with amazing river views and architecture. While it can become incredibly crowded and filled with tourists during high season, it’s a joy during shoulder/slow season. The Christmas markets are particularly charming here ☃️🎄🎅🏻 #heidelberg #visitgetmany #germanytourism #ig_germany #igeurope #igeuropa #europestyle_germany #kingsvillages #wowplacestogo #europedestinations #travelanddestinations #europemoments #europe_pics #besteuropephotos #letsflyawayto #christmasmarkets #christmasineurope
Nuremberg, Germany made a great base for some wonderful day trips. While I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite city, it felt more authentic than other “Christmas cities” in Europe and the crowds actually weren’t bad at all. #nuremberg #nurnberg #visitgermany #germanchristmasmarket #christmasmarket #christmasineurope #ig_germany #europestyle_germany #kingsvillages #europe_moments #traveldrops #bestplacestogo #travelandleisure #postcardsfromtheworld #germanytourism
Guess where I’ll be spending Christmas this year 🎄🎅🏻❄️ No one does Christmas better than Europeans… . . . . . #christmastime #christmas2022 #kings_villages #christmasiscoming #christmascountdown #hellofrance #colmarfrance #alsacemylove #alsacetourisme #alsacefrance #colmaroriginals #christmasineurope #christmasmarkets

THE BEST mid-range hotel IN CHARLESTON, SC - MARION SQUAREFrancis Marion Hotel - the location is ideal facing Marion Square, though the rooms are a bit tired and could use an update. Walking and biking around town is a fun way to not only explore the city you're visiting, but a sure way of staying fit while travelling. We all have the best intentions of squeezing in a workout later in the day in order to stay fit while travelling. This way of thinking also helps to not waste your “cheat meals”.I typically won’t gorge on the free bread at dinner because I know I’m planning to eat glutenous pasta the next day. Keeping these things in mind ensures I have great energy during my travels, assists in adjusting to time zone changes, takes the guilt out of travel eating, and helps me to continue a healthy lifestyle and feel my best even while abroad.
If you're looking for a place to study, work, or just an excuse to get out of the house, these Fort Worth coffee shops won't disappoint! Fort Worth offers a nice change of pace from Dallas and I have found myself rotating between the below coffee shops whenever I find myself in Cowtown (yes, that is the nickname for Fort Worth). This is one of my favorite Fort Worth coffee shops to work from. These are my absolute favorite Fort Worth coffee shops and the ones I find myself returning to again and again.
