n’t believe it’s already been one whole year since I published my very first post on My BeYOUtiful Life blog! After one year of blogging, I thought I’d share some of the things I’ve learned along the way during my first year. I haven’t really been good at posting consistently which is probably why I’m not as successful as I’d like to be. I’ve met some really great bloggers on Twitter and have had the opportunity to guest post on a couple of their blogs.
So, I set a goal at the beginning of 2018 to read at least 6 books with the hope of watching less TV and “exercise my mind”. Part 3 of our Baltic Seas European Cruise takes us to St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark! Once the other members of our tour were able to join us, we finally started our tour to include a city tour, the Hermitage Museum, Peterhof’s Grand Palace, and the Savior of Spilled Blood Cathedral. As much as I wanted to admire all the amazing art, paintings, and architecture, after about an hour of moving through each room along with hundreds of other warm bodies on a hot summer day (imagine a herd of cows), I just about had enough and was ready to move on to our next tour site. It was a way for our family to experience a total of 6 different countries in just a short amount of time giving us an idea of which countries we’d someday like to return to and stay a little longer.
n’t enjoy my job or like what I do, I just knew that I wanted more…more time with the family, more time to myself not having to commute or fight the Bay Area traffic, and eventually more money to have financial freedom. I started to do some research online on how to earn an income working from home and came across an overwhelming amount of information about blogging and earning extra income with reports of some bloggers making 6 to 7 figures. I know there’s so much to learn, from getting an actual website launched, to getting more traffic, to creating e-mail lists, to learning about affiliate marketing, to creating digital products, to posting on social media, etc., and can get overwhelming at times, but if blogging is something you really want to do, you’ll find a way to make it work. I realize there are tons of FREE information about blogging online, however trying to figure out this whole blogging world on your own may take you twice as long (sometimes longer) to get you to where you want to be.
