From there you have the option of flying on a little hopper plane (30 min flight) to Placencia, or driving (about 3 hrs). We decided to drive because Whitney was a little unsure about the small plane, but next time I would fly! The Resort is locate about 10 minutes from the little town of Placencia, which has restaurants, bars, and stores. Golf carts rented from Laru Beya are $35/4hrs, $50/8hrs, or $75 for a full day.
