From there you have the option of flying on a little hopper plane (30 min flight) to Placencia, or driving (about 3 hrs). We decided to drive because Whitney was a little unsure about the small plane, but next time I would fly! We booked this through our hotel, but I believe it was about $75/ person and includes lunch and water It was a little rainy one day, so Whitney and I decided to have a little spa day! We also didn’t have time to do this, but this is also a long tour day because the ruins are quite a ways away.
The resort is Laru Beya and it is located right on the ocean where you can view beautiful sunrises and lounge all day by the pool right on the beach. I don’t think there was one thing that wasn’t good, plus they have a new special every day! The Resort is locate about 10 minutes from the little town of Placencia, which has restaurants, bars, and stores. Golf carts rented from Laru Beya are $35/4hrs, $50/8hrs, or $75 for a full day.

I was so excited to learn that I was collaborating with Xtreme Xperience, and then proceeded to surprise Jon with the news since he would be driving a super car as well! Xtreme Xperience travels around to different tracks, so those living in different cities can drive these super cars! The instructors don’t look at the speedometer because they are watching the track, so they won’t know how fast you go.
