Blind and Autistic Music Therapy Jesse, who is blind, non-verbal, and autistic, and has severe intellectual disabilities, enjoys life and learns through music, and especially through music therapy. Obed is blind, non-verbal, and has severe intellectual disabilities. We apologize for the length of this video, but we’ve had many requests for our music therapy sessions, and they demonstrate the most value with limited editing.

We’ve been experimenting with how to incorporate Amazon Alexa and AlexaAccessibility features into our daily routine. Obed really likes the music and Hannah and Bethany have been using Alexa to schedule their alarms, routines, shopping lists, and communications within our home. The Amazon Smart Oven (https://www.amazon.com/b/?node=213413…) is an accessible 4-in-1 microwave, convection oven, food warmer, and air fryer all rolled into one counter-top appliance. But most of all, we just like having fun and learning about doing things independently!
