Periscope and Twitter are siblings, so you’re going to want to create a Twitter profile first, so that you can easily create your Periscope profile in just a few clicks. Regardless of the social media channel you’re using, you need a plan for how you’re going to use the platform to move the needle on business goals. Provide them with value through your content, and in the form of giveaways and website freebies when applicable, before making the ask in the form of a call to action at the end of your broadcast. Provide that call to action to the audience as the last thing in your broadcast, whether you want them to download a free guide from your website and/or follow you on Snapchat.
