I was born with an adventurous soul and now am blessed to share my adventures with my family. I started off traveling solo and gradually began to bring my children along on my journeys. The most important part of traveling for our family is being able to completely immerse ourselves in the culture. Our motto is to travel like a local in order to obtain the best experience possible. I travel with my husband, three children and our service dogs! The more the merrier!
Now, I’ll walk you through my itinerary and how to see the best of Spain like a local in a short amount of time. The guide took us to the Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona where we stopped at 9 different local, family run businesses. If you are looking for a truly authentic experience in Barcelona, I highly recommend the Gracia Neighborhood Food and Market Tour with Devour Barcelona. On a side note, Barcelona’s airport is my new favorite airport because if you are traveling with children they let you skip the incredibly long lines.
This boutique hotel encompasses the essence of true Barcelona charm. The room also had a private patio to enjoy the fresh Barcelona air. It provided touches of a typical Spanish breakfast such as meats, cheese, fruit, bread and pastries, all of which are homemade. If you are looking for a hotel that is personable, unique and captures the essence of Barcelona, then look no further.
The day is filled with mingling with other locals, stopping by traditional family run businesses and indulging in authentic food and beverages. Devour Barcelona provides a truly authentic experience on their Gracia Neighborhood Food & Market Tour. If you are looking for an authentic experience that you will remember forever, I highly recommend touring with Devour Barcelona. So let’s all spread the word about this charming neighborhood tucked away in Barcelona; and if you decide to visit, I know you will fall in love with Gracia just as I have.
The cave was a natural playground for my toddler and offered a much needed break from the hot Belize sun. Rio on Pools consists of endless amounts of small waterfalls cascading over granite rocks that form into natural swimming pools. We actually lost track of time so I couldn’t even tell you how long we spent soaking in our surroundings. I was a bit intimidated at first to bring my toddler on a jungle adventure, but I was pleasantly surprised.
