Highlights
Brevard Zoo

Melbourne Florida has a lot to offer also so make sure to explore a little. The zoo is a decent size for being in the middle of a busy area and with a lot of extra activities to make a full day out of it. One area is the Florida swamp and the other is around the African area of the zoo. The water fountains are closed so they allow 1 water bottle and have refillable water bottle stations in the zoo.

Museum Of Appalachia

I love a good history museum and the Museum of Appalachia was amazing. We spent a little over 2 hours walking around and could have easily been there for another 2 hours and had lunch at their on property restaurant. There were items of weapons, kids toys, tools, items they traded to and with the Indians of the land. They do have a store to purchase to purchase gifts and enjoy lunch at the restaurant.

Getting around Baltimore.

Once we arrived downtown we looked again on google maps for which bus or maybe walk to the hotel. We opted to take the city circulator for most of our trip since it was free and takes you to or near most major attractions. We attempted the green route but on Sunday that route did not run even though google maps stated it did. We were near major bus stops, the light rail, and other forms of public transportation.

First time flying with Spirt Airlines.

So you stand in line for that then stand in line to hand over your bag. We were zone 3 and thought it was a little odd that so many people were zone 1. On our flight, the check-in luggage costs were $60 per bag and can weigh no more than 40 pounds. The cost for luggage is per flight which was $30 totaling $60 for to and from.
