So thankful for Los Angeles-based @helpmakemasks who have secured a cadre of volunteers making masks for the first responders and volunteers on the front lines, including my client @sharedharvestfund’s myCOVIDMD initiative to bring testing and telehealth to communities in crisis including the uninsured, underinsured, homeless, and homebound. Happy Saturday! We got so much accomplished before 1pm - two group video chats, four different chicken recipes for the week ahead including enough to freeze, plus some delicious and decadent-but-healthy snacks. Choosing to go into the weekend with a fresh outlook and focus and treating it as an actual weekend, and not just another in a long string of days, has helped a lot. The friendships go back much farther and span multiple states and life transitions. We still have a daily (multiple time a day) group text with a couple of other girls from Kansas City. I love coffee mugs with phrases or that remind me of special trips and people. This one says, it’s good to be loved. To me this includes loving yourself.
