As much as I’d like to tote along 7 suitcases full of clothes and accessories, I’ve been told that’s neither practical nor affordable (LOL). So I was thrilled to team up with Cabana Life to choose the best pieces for my honeymoon. Other must-haves for my honeymoon suitcase: my fav sunnies, sandals that go from day to night, and a sleep mask for those early sunrises when I’m still catching up on my zzzzz’s. Seriously guys, there’s nothing sweeter than a floppy straw hat, and a straw bag.

Adding curtains can give a room depth, I chose to do light, linen curtains since my living room is a pretty dark space. The next phase will be hanging some fun, yet sophisticated artwork to fill the extra space next to my bookcases.

When I first started years ago I didn’t expect to be in the place I am today (#grateful), and lemme tell ya, I’ve learned a TON since first launching my blog (and still learning everyday! ). Being a blogger and having your own brand is not always easy, but it can be fun and rewarding if you set out on the correct path and follow the tips below that I’ve used to create a successful blog as my full time job.
