New Year's Eve 2017 ended with a sparkle this year for Megan, Colin and everybody at their wedding/New Year's Eve party. The record-breaking cold thwarted our plans of the reveal being outside on the bridge but didn't stop us from getting some great images for them inside the beautiful Talamore Country Club in Ambler, PA. Megan & Colin had a lot of fun and unique elements built into their wedding day starting with a visit from their fur baby who stopped by to pose for some formal pictures. Their wedding reception was a great New Year's Eve party, with the music supplied by Frank Raffa of Sound Sensation DJ's and which had balloons dropping at the stroke of midnight while everybody kissed their first kiss of 2018.
For a lot of years, it was common to see a family all in white shirts and khaki pants, or blue jeans. For most people, even thin ones, they prefer to look as slim as possible so I would say avoid wearing white. All be on the same level of formality (one person glammed up while the other looking like they are going to do gardening just doesn't look right. You should all be casual, all be formal, have a coordinated mix like one person with a nice button down shirt and new jeans or khakis with another in a dress.
I'm so happy they had such a beautiful day at The Desmond, in Malvern PA. As the photographer, I love being able to control the light and this room was the perfect set up. The wedding ceremony was in the solarium, which is beautiful, large windows surround the whole room and ceiling. The music and MC of the day was provided by Frank Raffa, owner of Sound Sensation DJ's.
