It happens every year, it’s the beginning of January and if you have not started yet, it’s now time to take down your Christmas decorations. To help you transition from Christmas to Winter decor, I created this list with some tips on How to Decorate your home after Christmas. I like to go around the house with storage bins and store everything that doesn’t work for winter, like red and green decor elements, mini Christmas trees, ornaments, and Christmas wreaths. The Christmas tree is gone and there’s an empty corner, the best way to fill up that space is by adding a plant.
Here are some tips on How to Decorate for Christmas using Neutral Tones: SIMPLICITY NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE Incorporating neutral colors into your Christmas decor means more of a natural look, more greens, and less busy-ness. We all got to agree that 2020 is been quite a year, our lives keep getting busier and busier, using calming colors for your Christmas decor is a way to create a peaceful retreat. Use some leftover sprigs among some pine cones to finish up, these elements will add texture to your decor. Just because you are going neutral, doesn’t mean you can’t add some glam to your decor.

This year I’m using spiders, crows, and skulls to my decor, you can also use cute bats, faux snakes, rats, ghosts, or any other creepy creature you’d like. My decor style is very neutral, and since my creepy creatures are black, I chose this amazing color to complement my Halloween decor. For Halloween, I added two cute pumpkins, got some spooky black stems for my vase, and finished up with crows and spiders.
