My name is Marcus Knight, a 20-year-old college student originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, studying music business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. From a very early age, I was taught to listen more than I spoke - the reason being that there was always a story to be told. Now growing up and seeing the world for what it is, and what it could be, I now value the idea of stories. Everyone has a different story to tell, from different backgrounds, cultures, religions, races, etc. and I want to now be a part of that storytelling process. I focus mainly on college life content including vlogs, Q&As, how-tos, and more fun stuff. I also do a lot of motivational speaking and Christian-led content, along with some comedic skits and other fun things to create a closer, tighter-knit community among my Instagram followers, my YouTube subscribers, my Tik-Tok followers and other platforms such as Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook. So after everything is all said and done, I will still be here, I will still be ya boi, and I will still be ya best friend.

Merry Christmas Eve, digital family! 🎄 Three of the first things we learn about God in the Bible are that 1) He was before anything else [in the beginning], 2) He is a creative [God created] and 3) His first priority was light [let there be light]. ✨ As we get ready to celebrate the One who is the light of the world, He calls us to be that same light from day to day. Not just a warm and fuzzy feeling for others, but people who see beyond, who hold others and our own selves accountable, who expose much needed truths and protect the ones we hold close from forces that would choose to diminish and destroy us. ✨ Hear me clearly - though this post is biblically based, this message is not intended for the Christian only. This is for every person who wishes to simultaneously see good and do good in the earth. You have a light inside of you that is waiting to be shown. This is your time to truly shine. ✨

What do you do with the weird holiday time between Thanksgiving and Christmas? 🍂❄️ For me, now is the perfect time to reminisce about the year, to set goals for the future, to cast vision and to reevaluate. It’s the time for cleaning hard drives and deleting unneeded files, going through closets and mentally preparing for what’s ahead. 🍂❄️ My plan is always to end better than how I start. As we enter into the last month of 2023, you’ll hear a lot of talk about love, joy, hope and peace throughout the holiday season. ❄️ All of those attributes are wrapped up in this idea of goodness, what is right and just. And a lot of times, we can get wrapped up in doing good for others - which is what we are called to do! Don’t grow weary in doing good for you will reap if you faint not! ❄️ But true goodness - true peace, true love, true joy - is a cycle of doing good and BEING good. We are called to do AND be. What benefit is there to donate, to serve, to affirm others, to give constantly to the outside world, but to never instill a sense of humility, grace, intentionality and justice within yourself? ❄️ And vice versa - you could be the nicest, sweetest, kindest human on the planet and still be the most passive, the most detached, the most removed from the work needed to enact change in our world. ❄️ Let this season be a constant cycle of doing good and being good. ❄️ #begood #dogood
