After sell-out seasons in 2018, Sugar Republic is coming back to Melbourne in February on the top floor of Myer Melbourne. It will have a whole new look and even sweeter eye-candy installations
It was such a great day, we had grazing platters, meat cooking on the webers, delicious food, great entertainment (by Dave’s dad) and ice cold drinks – check out the pallet bar Dave made below! There was Pimms on ice, a delicious carrot cake that my sister-in-law Laura made (see above) and my mum and sisters even visited all the way from Australia. it’s crazy to look back and think we got through all these places in just one year: We are currently still in New Zealand and will be for a few more months. We have an engagement party planned in Auckland this month and are enjoying spending time with family and friends here I’ll still be freelancing for a few clients however I am in the process of looking for a marketing job in Melbourne to keep me busy and to really challenge me. We recently spent 10 amazing days in Bali relaxing, going on adventures and hitting up the beach, it was so nice to be based in one place for this long as this year we have been full-time travelling and moving every few days. White water rafting in Bali is really fun if the rivers are full with water (the rafts can go quite slow when the water levels are low so just check with the company or your guide before you book). Pictured below is one of my favourites, La Plancha, the beach here is filled with colourful bean bags and umbrellas and it’s the perfect place to watch the sun go down with a cocktail in hand. It’s an interesting place to drop into when you are in Ubud, it’s essentially a big forest with wild monkeys roaming around – cute
