A 3-Day Travel Guide To Rome: Part III

In Rome It only took minutes for us to fall in love with this city, and now, on our final day in Rome, we couldn’t believe our time here was almost over. I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard in my life watching Christian try to push the bicycle down the stairs – which had gotten stuck halfway down! After our time in Villa Borghese Park, we began walking back to our hotel – this time, taking a different route. We couldn’t think of a perfect ending of our time in Rome then to get one more gelato at our favorite spot – Venchi! After three exciting days in the Eternal City, it was hard to imagine our vacation getting any better!

A 3-Day Travel Guide To Rome: Part II

The big question when you travel is do you hire a private guide, participate in a group tour or create your own self-tour? Since this was also our first full day abroad, let alone in Italy, we decided to hire a private tour guide for the day! Our guide, Tommaso, met us bright and early at 8:30 AM in front of the Colosseum metro station, which was just a short 10-minute walk from our hotel, The Inn at Roman Forum. After being dropped off by our driver, we were invited by the very welcoming staff to enjoy a welcome drink and tiramisu in the hotel’s cryptoporticus, an ancient passageway! The Inn at Roman Forum is centrally located and was just a short walk away from the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Capitoline Hill, and plenty of shops, restaurants and more. After lunch we made our way back to our hotel to explore its rooftop, which was said to have gorgeous views of Rome. Stepping out of the typical tiny Italian elevator that was only made for two, we were instantly blown away. In every city we visit, we always ask the hotel staff the same question, “what areas should we not walk, and where should we not go at night?

This Is The Coolest Hotel We Have Ever Stayed At This Is The Coolest Hotel We Have Ever Stayed At From Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge filled with live African animals, to the Inn at Roman Forum built within the ruins of Rome, we have stayed at some pretty cool places on our travels! Here are the reasons why the City Hall Grand Hotel in Williamsport, PA ranks as the coolest hotel we have ever stayed at! Just like its name suggests, this 1893 building once home to City Hall has been completely remodeled to accommodate spacious hotel rooms overlooking the city.
