There are many different types of stress. Its not as obvious as you may think. Stress has root cause and triggers too, could be situational or emotional or physical. . Two step process to feeling better faster: 1 ) if you are a fast paced person, slow down. Recognize the speed you are going at. 2 ) stop multitasking. ☀️ 5 MOST COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT ECZEMA 💫✨ ⠀ These questions DO NOT have obvious answers. In fact, they counter many answers you find on the internet about eczema. ⠀ Eczema is complicated and I am here to simplify it! ⠀ 1️⃣ Will I have TSW forever? Nope! ☺️ there is hope, TSW is most triggered by stress and aggravated by moisturizer so work on those two areas! ⠀ 2️⃣ What diet should I eat to heal eczema? If you have TSW, diet is not nearly as important as stress management. For eczema, figure out if you have an intolerance to high salicylate foods. Then figure out if you have candida! Look at @thecandidadiet for help with candida. ⠀ 3️⃣ How often should I moisturize? The less you moisturize (without your skin cracking and bleeding) the better. A lot of times people with slather moisturizer on - especially moisturizer with toxic or eczema aggravating ingredients. Shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and olive oil can be better for moisturizing. I would not recommend wearing moisturizer overnight if you can. ⠀ 4️⃣ Is showering bad for eczema? Shower water can cause inflammation from the chemicals found in it. A shower filter can be really helpful. I also find that when my clients shower every other day and hand wash the places they sweat on the off day, that shows the best results! ⠀ 5️⃣ How can I stop itching so much? I know I know, itching can make you feel insane. Milk thistle can help itching from food, glycine can help night time itching! Doing breathwork, meditation, taking daily walks, and drinking enough water helps too! ⠀ I hope this helps someone! MOISTURIZER IS A MISTAKE 🚨 . Trust me when I say you do not need moisturizer on your eczema to heal. . The rumors are true! No moisturizer can help especially with TSW. . 🚨 SUGAR IS RUINING YOUR SKIN 🚨 (and preventing your eczema from healing)⁣ ⁣ Refined sugar is the worst! High fructose corn syrup, throw it in the trash. Refined sugar is the "R" in FREDG foods which are the top foods to avoid when you have eczema. Follow these steps to get sugar out of your life! ✅Read food labels. Research the ingredients you don't know. ✅Wean yourself off of it.⁣ ✅Craving sugar constantly? Might be candida, take a supplement for that. ...need to know good replacements?⁣ ⁣ ➡️I always bake with stevia or monk fruit! Monk fruit is my favorite since it isn't quite as sweet as stevia. IT’S MY 25th BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!! . To celebrate I am sharing my favorite dessert recipe! You can see some of the ingredients in the pic 🎉🎉🎉 . Mix everything together and freeze!! 1 tbsp coconut oil (heated) Melt 3 tbsp chocolate chips by @lilys_sweets into the coconut oil! 1/4 tsp glycine powder 1 scoop collagen powder by @ancientnutrition 1/2 tbsp coconut butter 1/2 tbsp tahini 1/2 tbsp plant milk 2 tbsp carob powder 1 tbsp maca powder Crack some sea salt in! Add chocolate chips when its cooled down and freeze for a half hour!!!!! There you go 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hi friends! Lets talk stress induced eczema. It’s often chronic stress that is your root cause of eczema. This is long term stress. Acute stress is short term stress like an argument or getting angry in traffic. 🚗 . When we think of being stressed, we think “oh no, im all good I didn’t stress out today” but did you? Chronic stress usually appears in your body physically. The first step is to recognize your physical manifestation of stress, usually the chest or shoulders. 🤪 . I asked my best friend, Emily to create some affirmations for me to handle my personal stress to show you. . The affirmations below are three she came up with for me specifically because my stress comes from time limits, worthiness, and fear of lack of control. . “Everything happens in divine timing. Leaky gut aka intestinal permeability is when your gut lining is impaired. For example foods like bread, cheese, processed snacks, and soda can cause this issue! 😬😬 . Not only that but if you had to take antibiotics its likely your gut is out of whack! Antibiotics wipe MOST bacteria from your gut and friends, all of that bacteria weighs about 4 lbs, WHAAAT! . Our gut needs lots of different types of bacteria to be healthy. Antibiotics make this ideal situation harder. A lot of times after using antibiotics you may end up with a yeast infection or a UTI // this means candida has built up...GROSS! This can cause a lot of the symptoms above like sugar cravings, moodiness, and tiredness! . Work on healing your gut, it’s basically the center of health! Lets talk about diet! We haven’t chatted about this in a while...what can or can’t you eat when you have eczema? 🤔 . Depends! Is your liver overworked? How can you tell? If you itch during the day after meals! 🥘 // if this is the case then check out salicylates on google and see which food are high in them and see if you react! . My liver is healed so I can have cucumbers and red bell peppers again!!! 🎉🎉🎉. . This salad is candida diet friendly, meaning its low in sugars! Some days I will even skip the sweet potato to make sure its not feeding the candida. . One amazing condiment that most people can use is tahini 🎉👏 I will be posting a blog of sauces that my bestie @ecwagnerr came up with! Stay tuned. . As far as diet, my best advice is track your symptoms and figure out which foods cause itching. YOUR body knows best 💕💕💕
