WEATHERING THE TEXAS SNOWSTORM with withlove, tere

It’s the only thing that came to mind when I think about what happened this past winter in Texas. It all leads me back to remember that just like the WHO’s, we have absolutely no control, or very very very little control of anything that happens in our lives. We went skiing and got our snow “fix” knowing that we’d be coming back to Texas to warm spring days. As if that was not enough, the power outages caused water plants to stop functioning correctly and sent us all into a boil water situation.

SPRING BUCKET LIST

I love the pastel colors, Easter, the flowers, the cool breeze that still lingers in the warm sunshine that makes my garden bloom. It’s all such a reminder of God’s mercy, renewal and The kids and I have been looking forward to spring activities and We have already started to check off some of our favorite springtime activities and are looking forward with anticipation to all of the things that we still have yet to do (like pick berries and visit a flower farm) I wanted to share this bucket list with you because if you’re anything like me, you are ready for all things spring and sometimes a little inspiration is the “nudge” you need to create some springtime memories with your family.

How I am setting goals for the month of March 2021

It’s a great opportunity to set goals, start fresh, and to look ahead with hopeful anticipation. I thought I’d share my March 2021 goals here and hopefully come back at the end of the month having accomplished most of them! Grandparents paid a visit this past week and we took a few more breaks than usual, but we’re moving right along. I’m working on changing that and finding the balance between “the next thing” and the lessons learned from the previous projects.

MARCH MUST HAVES FOR SPRING

I love pulling inspiration from the season we’re stepping into and today I’m sharing a few of my March favorites! I know, I know it’s not fully swimsuit season yet, but we are expecting some warm days in Texas this month. These slip-on are perfect for spring days and the pattern is so fun Ah I can’t wait for the sunshine to warm up our days and for all things spring.
