It is a real wildlife haven... and looks super pretty in the snow, right? ❄️ The British waterways heritage is what makes the canals so special. Lancaster Canal was originally built from Wigan to Canal Head in Kendal and was completed in 1819 - was connected to the national waterway network via the Ribble Link in 2002.
