When I was a kid, up north September always meant heading back to school (after Labor Day weekend), shopping for new things and taking fun weekend road trips to watch some college football 🏈. I am trying to pretend this weather in Atlanta is giving fall. Okay, to my defense it was 65° this morning which is what truly tickled my fall fanny! And tonight the temperatures gonna drop to 71°. TIME - This I Must Experience | Today at a certain time, the sun rose and it will set. Tomorrow, it will be the same. I trust this because it happens everyday. Some days we wait longer for the sun to set then others. There are sometimes when waiting can seem dull and draining. But look to our God and know his timing is perfect. Time definitely moves both slower and faster than I would like during certain seasons of my life. I have to remind myself, that God you are the king of the universe! I trust in your timing. I just thank you for whispering hope to me during my time of waiting, and for your faithfulness. Your timing is enough. You give every trial and waiting period purpose! Wish : /wiSH/ feel or express a strong desire or hope for something that is not easily attainable. Have you ever watched a @disney movie 🎥 and wished that was your love story 🥹💕? I have another question; Have you ever heard of or seen anyone that didn’t have a huge smile on their face after watching a @disney movie?! ME EITHER SIS! Everyday aboard the Wish with @disneycruiseline I felt like I was living in a real life Disney movie!! For my whole life Disney has truly brought me so much joy 🥹 even though I’ve suffered from debilitating depression and anxiety for much of my life. Honestly, some days the only thing that would put a smile on my face again was a classic Disney movie! The stories of women overcoming adversity, being challenging the status quo, and becoming true examples of what it means to lead others with courage, love, and kindness helped shape me into the woman I am today. Disney kept my childlike hope & joy alive and well! Being on Wish with @disneycruiseline brought back so many emotions, but the greatest were hope & joy! Thanks to Disney I grew up believing & still do currently, that the “dreams that you wish will come true”. As an adult, Disney never fails to set fire to my kid-like spirit & bring to life old dreams while igniting new ones. The best way to get unstuck is to let go! I have been stuck for quite some time now, because my thoughts have been stuck in the past. Why would I want my thoughts to be centered around my painful past experiences? That's not the healthiest thing. But by telling myself to "Let Go and Let God", altering my attitude, and my actions I am starting to fell less stuck! Today I choose to be happy with the progress I've made rather than perfection & living in my past. My eyes are open and I know I can ask God for help with the letting go process! Luckily God has always given me what I needed instead is what I wanted. Through these experiences, I have felt nourished in ways I've never felt before.
