We believe boating should be an escape rather than a nuisance. To us, boating is a way for people to relax, connect with friends and create powerful memories with family. Freedom Boat Club is the simple alternative to boat ownership.
And unlike other club organizations, Freedom Boat Club rotates new boats into the system regularly, while moving them out of inventory after three years of usage. ‘mom and pop’ locations, Freedom Boat Club has 2,000+ late model boats from coast to coast, with 200+ franchise and corporate club locations throughout the United States and Canada. Freedom Boat Club enjoys positive relationships with retail dealerships in the markets in which both operate, particularly those dealerships who sell and service the boat brands in the Freedom Boat Club fleet. In many instances, Freedom Boat Club has established formal relationships with local retailers and will provide referrals to club members who eventually opt for traditional boat ownership.

We announced our 100th location just over three years ago so to add another 100 locations in that short period of time is a testament to the growth of boat clubs and boating participation. Now serving more than 40,000 members around the United States, Canada and Europe, Freedom Boat Club continues to earn national awards including the top spot from Entrepreneur magazine in the Misc. Freedom Boat Club announced that it has completed work on building a house for a family of three in North Port, Florida, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County Inc. We are thrilled to have worked with Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County, investing our time and energy to give back to our community,” John Giglio, president of Freedom Boat Club, said. Since 1992, Habitat for Humanity has built more than one million homes with more than 140 of those homes having been built locally in South Sarasota County. In addition to its partnership with Habitat for Humanity, Freedom Boat Club has created a national cause-marketing partnership to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Having boats in the 20’ to 25’ range gives the driver the confidence to enjoy the day without having to drive a large boat or hire a captain, though extensive training is provided to all club members upon joining the club. Prospective members are encouraged to connect with their local club to discuss club benefits and gather specific pricing for their area. Freedom Boat Club members can make a reservation by calling their local reservationist or by logging onto our reservation system or mobile app. The synergies between our Brunswick Boat Group, Mercury Marine and Freedom Boat Club are in their infant stages and we are very excited about the opportunities to expose our members to everything that Brunswick has to offer.
