When the girls asked how I wanted to celebrate my birthday, I couldn’t think of anything better than watching them smile. When we were invited to Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim for the weekend, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to celebrate. They got to hit the kitchen at Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim with Chef Cat Cora and the Junior Chef Council to learn all about the new kids menu. The rest of our trip the girls hit the waterpark and Ian and I even joined in on the fun on the family water slide.

Last week when my parents came to visit they decided it would be a great time for us girls to take a little break for some self-care and have a girls getaway. With all the rain in LA we decided to road trip into the desert and check into Palm Springs. Salvation Mountain is located in the lower desert of Southern California in Imperial County just east of the Salton Sea and about a hour and a half from Palm Springs.
