Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite places to vacation, so when Hotels.com asked me to share the best restaurants in South Lake Tahoe, I was definitely up for the task! In the heart of South Lake Tahoe is the Heavenly Ski Resort Village where you’ll find the gondola to the mountain and lots of apres-ski fun, food and drink. There are tons of fantastic restaurants in South Lake Tahoe, but these three are my favorite when I want a nice night out for dinner and drinks. Combine an excellent selection of their own craft beer with delicious food, friendly service, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere, and you’ve got Cold Water Brewery.
By contrast, demo skis are often the finest, hottest, latest skis available from the biggest name brands and can cost as little as $10-$25.00 per day more than the standard rental skis. If you’re considering buying new skis, rent several different pairs of demo skis to see what types of skis work best for you. A day lift ticket at Beaver Creek in Colorado is $199, while nearby Copper Mountain charges $119 – $189. If it’s all about the skiing then you can save money choosing a resort with a less expensive lift ticket price.
Located just a quarter-mile from the beach, Four Seas is an old blacksmith shop-turned-ice-cream-store where generations of summer visitors and Cape Cod residents have taken their families. Tour Pleasant Bay and Chatham Harbor and get up close and personal with adorable seals on a Blue Claw Boat Tour. Captain Rob’s storytelling makes history come alive with tales of pilgrims and pirates and buried treasure! One of my favorite things to do in Cape Cod was Art’s Dune Tours, where we were taken on a journey through the Provincetown Cape Cod National Seashore protected lands.
There’s a lot to do, but at the same time, there’s not a lot to do – and that’s the beauty of Plymouth. things to do in Plymouth: Plymouth Rock, Plimoth Patuxet, Mayflower II, Plimoth Grist Mill, and the town of Plymouth. So while Plymouth Rock was not the first place the Pilgrims set foot on American soil, it is still a symbol of our nation’s founding. the Plimoth Grist Mill tells the story of the grist (corn grinding) mill built by the Pilgrims in Plymouth Colony.
