Today should have been the last day of school for these two cuties! Just like everyone else, we would never have guessed the school year would end the way it did. Despite all the crazy, both kids had a fantastic year and are looking forward to Summer! . . My Jman! ❤️❤️❤️ I cannot believe how much this kid has grown! 😱 He loved first grade and absolutely thrived this year! He got 💯 percent on every spelling test and is reading above his grade level. 🤓 He had THREE teachers and loved them all. {four, if you count me and he loves me some days!} So grateful for all three of those ladies and the hard work they put into making this year great! He has missed his friends but will not be too upset if "online learning" continues next year. 🤪 . . Livy Bug! She had such a big year. She had the most amazing Preschool teachers, and both of us have missed them. She loved the play kitchen and all of the dress ups they had in her classroom. She also loved snack time, and it was the first thing she would tell me when she got home from school each day. 😂 (totally my kid!) She made some great and friends and is SO excited for kindergarten. She will be absolutely heartbroken if school does not go back in the fall. 😫 . . I am so proud of these two and how they have handled the constant changes these past few months. I'm feeling extra lucky that they are mine. #firstdayofschoollastdayofschool

The weather here in Utah these past few days has been GORGEOUS! I think its safe to say summer weather is officially here! ❤☀ At least for this week. The weather here sometimes likes to randomly throw a different season at you with zero warning. 👎⁣ .⁣ .⁣ All this beautiful sunshine got me thinking about my Lemon Sugar Cookie. You guys. This cookie literally tastes like summer. {Can anyone say the word "literally" and not think of Rob Lowe? 😆} It is so yummy and not too lemony. 🍋 That's a word, right?⁣ .⁣ .⁣ I would love to know what everyone's summertime plans are. We have all been going a little stir crazy in the O’Toole house and we were able to get away to my in laws cabin over the long weekend and it is just what we needed.⁣ .⁣ .⁣ This is one of our favorite places to escape too! It’s the only place Jason can totally relax and de-stress. My kids love going for walks, skipping rocks in the lake, 4-wheeler rides with grandpa and playing cards with grandma. I like that I can have a bed, flushing toilets, diet dr. Pepper etc. but still call it camping because when I look out the windows I see pine trees and moose poop. 😂😂😂⁣ .⁣ .⁣ It was nice to forget about all the crap going on in the world and just enjoy my little family and nature.

Livy's birthday was over a week ago, and she is still talking about it! {as well as planning her birthday for NEXT year.} 😜 She is all about Unicorns and Rainbows currently, so she HAD to have a Unicorn cake. Obvi.⁣ .⁣ .⁣ She was absolutely thrilled with her cake and even did a little bounce when she saw it, but was a bit sad she couldn't eat the horn. 😂🤦‍♀️ I just love how much she LOVES her birthday {or anyone's birthday.} and how excited she gets. Wouldn’t be a cabin trip with out at least one stop at @thesodaco.islandpark. Their Belgium waffles are so delicious. We got 4. 😂😂❤️

My Livy bug is 5 and my heart could burst! . . She is my Disney Loving, baking buddy, makeup obsessed, mini me. This girl is everything! She is always up for fun and a vacation. She always has my back when Jason and Jaden tease me and she always tells me how pretty and skinny I look. 😂. . . Livy is as sassy as they come but has the purest heart and strives to do what is right. She has more compassion in her 5 year old body than most adults. I am so in awe of this special girl and feel so grateful everyday that I get to be her mom. . . Livy Lou I love you more than words can say! You have made this crazy world so much happier! This is such a crazy time but I am beyond grateful for these faces. They have been amazing. My kids have always been pretty good at “ going with the flow “ but I can not believe how amazing they have been through all of this. Quarantine day #107. Yesterday my in-laws had us drive to their house for a special surprise. It was cupcakes and lemonade to have a tea party. ☕️ . . Today we had that tea party! I have loved the sweet spirit that has been in our home today. I loved knowing that so many people around the world 🌎 were praying and fasting with one common goal in mind. I am grateful for a living prophet who leads us, guides us and comforts us through these uncertain times. I am grateful for prayer and for the peace it brings.
