After managing big name social media influencers like Laura Clery and putting together content for verified accounts like James Dean and Aaliyah Haughton, I’ve been able to figure out what’s successful and what isn’t. I’ve also helped write captions and develop creatives for various branded ad campaigns with Fortune 500 companies. In addition to knowing the business side of influencer marketing, I’ve also had experience modeling and acting for Papa John’s, Chiquita Bananas, and a Microsoft/Lenovo digital campaign. This past year, I was also able to do my first social media branded campaign with EuNatural through Stack Influence which piqued my interest even further.
Having just moved to LA from the midwest, I’m excited to really start generating more content for my socials. I want to work with companies that align with my interests in yoga/fitness, eating clean, fashion, the outdoors, and traveling. Since I’m younger and new to LA, I don’t have a lot of money so I’d like to use that angle of pursuing my interests, but on a budget, as I think my followers and peers will find that incredibly relatable and interesting.
I was supposed to walk on May 16th, but I guess the online graduation thing works too. Proud to be a Kelley School of Business Alum 👩🏻🎓 #iupuigrad20 • • ALSO - totally late to the game but accepted a job as a Performance Media Specialist for Merkle Inc. late January. I was supposed to be in the Culver City office right now, but I guess the online WFH thing works too 👩🏻💻
Fall 7 times, get back up 8. After 5.5 years, I can finally say I’m a COLLEGE GRADUATE 👊🏻 Some of you know & some of you don’t, but 3 years ago, my life blew up. I was told by doctors that I had to take time off in order to heal from a myriad of health issues, my dad had cancer, & people I thought were my friends totally abandoned me. Last fall was the first semester I was cleared to come back full time. I told my parents that if I failed the semester, I wasn’t going back. The plan was to just keep my head down since all my classmates had graduated & I didn’t want to make new friends. • • Fast forward to today and WOW - God not only brought me back from rock bottom, but took me even farther. I passed all my classes with flying colors, made amazing new friends, found a kick a** job, & have been able to do some incredible things. Everything happens for a reason and, looking back, I can honestly say that my world collapsing 3 years ago was the best thing that could ever have happened to me. So, if you’ve read this far, remember - NEVER GIVE UP.
