Plant-based brand Alpha Foods’ line of vegan pot pies in Beefy Cheddar, Chik’n Veggie, Pizza, and Buffalo Chik’n flavors will be available nationwide this fall. Starting in October, Walmart stores nationwide will stock a new line of vegan pot pies made by plant-based food company Alpha Foods. The frozen line includes four handheld pie flavors—Beefy Cheddar, Chik’n Veggie, Pizza, and Buffalo Chik’n—that feature a flaky crust stuffed with plant-based meats, cheeses, and sauces. “Our new delicious line of plant-based pot pies provide consumers a fast, on-the-go option outside of the meat and cheese options typically found in the freezer aisle,” Alpha Foods CEO Loren Wallis told VegNews.
