Hi mamas! It is Wednesday, half way through our week! Earlier today on my daily walk I pondered on what I wanted to share with you all. Then when we got home as I was making my bed this book I have on my night stand stood out to me. “What Your Hear Needs for the Hard Days “ An old friend of mine gifted this to me and I still read it from time to time. So I read a chapter and that’s the message I want to share today.⁣ ⁣ Let’s start with a question. What happens when we lift our heads? Our perspective changes. Often we find ourselves feeling stuck in our troubles placed before us. We get into this headspace where we don’t look forward to what God has in plan for us. And today loves I want this to change for you. I want you to know that things are going to be okay. You’re not alone in your troubles. Christ, Our Savior, is right beside you lifting your head and healing your heart. He has nothing but L O V E for us. He wants to lift us when life has got us down. [#ad] Today, do something for you. My self-care routine has advanced plenty. I’ve found that taking time for me isn’t selfish. We, as mamas, shouldn’t feel guilty for wanting to care about ourselves. One of my favorite things to do is my hair. I’ve got a new love for it since I’ve started growing it out. I have used @headandshouldersusa every time I have dry scalp flares. That’s why I was excited to learn about Head & Shoulders Supreme. It has made it so easy to pamper my scalp and bring it back to life. I am loving the Head & Shoulders Supreme line. Having fun with children creates connection. Connection builds relationship’s. Relationship’s are what we need to raise our children. So start having more fun, more of the time. Time spent with your child isn’t never time wasted. Because our children won’t remember their best day of tv. ✨⁣ ⁣ Today is Monday mamas! Let’s get our priorities straight. If you’re too busy to enjoy quality time, then you need to ⁣ re-evaluate. ⁣ ⁣ Since dad started working from home we have added morning family walks to our routines. Let me just say what a difference it’s made. I was struggling to get out of bed due to quarantine. So this has given me something to look forward to each day. ⁣ ⁣ My kids will be doing home school this upcoming school year and so I’m trying to adjust my schedule that will allow for individual quality time with each one. This morning I was teaching Shia his name. It’s possible be both completely overwhelmed by a season of motherhood + COMPLETELY GRATEFUL⁣ ⁣ I’ve been a mom for six years now and while some things have gotten easier to handle there’s just no way around the hardships. My three kids are VERY different from each other. Their development has all been different not to mention their personalities as well. I didn’t expect my children to be the same but I did have an unrealistic vision of motherhood. There are days were I’ve been tested beyond measure. Then we have those days were it’s all so picture perfect. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve learned through my own experiences that the only thing in my control is how I respond to my days. My children are only little for so long. I’m continuously challenging myself to better my motherhood skills. I want to be as mindful as I can when it comes to my children and their needs. Although I won’t ever be perfect I know that I am doing my best for them. ⁣ ⁣ So mamas know that our journey in motherhood is never going to be as perfect as we see in the highlights that many of us share on our feeds. However, be proud of all that you do for your littles.
