Diapers in Paradise is a family travel blog focused entirely on travel with babies and toddlers. We feature destination guides that are specific to the needs of parents of very little people, and a large library of helpful tips and tricks for traveling with a baby or toddler in tow. Our goal is to show parents that travel doesn't have to end when you have a baby. Diapers in Paradise is a fast-growing site with a specific and dedicated niche. I'm looking to work with other influencers in the family travel realm, and with brands that want to target parents of very young children who travel.

Thailand with a Toddler or Baby: Know Before You Go

Some things you might want to think about ahead of time and watch out for: lax building codes (meaning open stairwells and other dangers), beach and pool safety, food and water safety, and transportation. More specifically, you will often find that the taxis do not have rear seatbelts, they certainly won’t have a LATCH system, and sometimes, even with seatbelts, they won’t allow you to install your car seat. Hire a car for day trips, or any days that you are planning to jump around to several sites within one day, and use the car seat instead of hopping from taxi to taxi. Anywhere you stay in Thailand will have a water kettle for boiling water (usually electric), but boiling the tap water will not make it 100% safe to drink.

Best Family-Friendly Airbnbs in Vancouver

Downtown: while you will undoubtedly explore this area and check out many of the amazing attractions that are located in the heart of the city, it is probably not the best for staying with kids. North Van is a great option for families, because the neighborhoods are quiet and you can find a lot of family homes that either rent out the entire house or use their basement studios for Airbnbs. The prices are better in North Van, and you’ll be close to attractions like the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the Cleveland Dam, as well as the North Shore mountains. Where to stay in Vancouver with kids I’ve picked out what I think are some really great Airbnbs in Vancouver in the neighborhoods that I would recommend sticking to.

How (and Why!) to Travel with Cloth Diapers

Of course, that doesn’t mean that you can’t cloth diaper if you do I would of course recommend bringing cloth diaper liners to ensure that no solid waste goes into someone else’s washing machine. , I don’t want to carry 6 cloth diapers with me… (enough for the day plus a couple “just in case”). It’s easy enough to pack them, and combined with some disposables, it’s plenty to get through a day (plus a day to dry in the sun).

How to Travel Carry On Only with a Baby and Toddler

I’m here to tell you that backpacking (or at least flashpacking!) does not have to end when you have a baby, and in truth, traveling carry on only with young kids is the most freeing type of family travel. n’t like to spend the time to get to know a new place, but for this trip, we had limited time off from work and wanted to catch the highlights of Central Vietnam, so we had to move every few days. But when we travel carry-on only, we each have a backpack, plus another good-sized bag with supplies for the plane ride, and usually some random stuff too (a baby carrier or stroller, a bag for our toddler travel bed, etc.). When you don’t have the space to bring things home, it makes it very easy to avoid buying souvenirs that you don’t need.
