Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy: Our Court Appointed Special Advocate Program and Child Advocacy Center help abused & neglected children in Weld County, CO
HOW YOU CAN HELP Stop in for a warm drink and learn about the Weld County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program and how you can get involved. Our next CASA volunteer training starts in June 2021, but we have Independent Learning opportunities throughout the year. If you already know about us, please stop by and say hi! March 23 – 6:00 to 8:00 am via Zoom Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy will be presenting an Online Child Abuse prevention workshop this month, Darkness to Light Stewards of Children, for staff and volunteers of our community partners and nonprofits, coaches, youth pastors, camp counselors, parents and anyone who works with or interacts with children. We ask participants to register so we can email them log in information before the event and mail out the work book after the event. The workshop is free but please RSVP by March 22, 2021. Join us in the Life Stories Conference Room Donors will have access to their COVID-19 Antibody Test results in their donor portal 2-3 weeks following their donation. Donating blood is still safe to do and is considered an essential gathering by the CDC. We will be pre-screening donors and working to keep 6 feet of distance between donors to keep our community safe!
